Yes. It’s true. It took me forever to re-post the old blogs from the old website. But now, they are finally back up. And (drum roll) I have a NEW story to post!
My last post was about the ghostly activity in my dorm room here at school. Now months later, I can tell you that I have had many more experiences here, and also in other locations. This may lead some to think that my dorm is haunted, but it is not. It is me that is haunted. The difference between the two is this: in a haunted place, one can leave and cease to experience activity, however, for a haunted person (myself being a sensitive) the paranormal permeates all aspects of life. Sure, sometimes it is only at the back of our minds, but it is there, because we know that at any second, no matter where we are, who we are with, etc. we could encounter something a little weird. And by weird I, of course, mean paranormal.
I have since my last post encountered the fey (fey is plural for faeries….and yes, they do exist), something else inhuman (though it doesn’t appear to be negative, I cannot figure ust what it is), many many human spirits, and some other unexplainable activity. I have also been having some really strange dreams, which may or may not be related.
I will recount for you one specific event that occurred approximately a week ago. I was sitting at my computer desk, here in my dorm room. I was working on several things, one of them indeed being this website. I took a break from looking at my glaring computer screen, and let my eyes wander around the soothingly darkened room. Suddenly, my eye was caught by what appeared to be a small shadow in front of my door. Sure enough something was there. I have no idea what it was. All I can say for sure is that it blocked out part of the doorway, was about three or four feet in height, with a skinny “head” at the top and a globular, wide bottom. It did not taper off or anything before meeting the floor, which means this shadow either did not have legs and feet, or they were through the floor. As I stared in awe of this thing that was only feet away, the entity seemed the somehow fold down into itself and disappeared leaving me shocked, excited, and a bit spooked, like a little kid at a fireworks show.
Some of you may read this and think this experience would be scary. But I assure you I was not scared and am usually not scared of the paranormal. Once you learn more about it, and experience it so often, you realize that it really isn’t all that frightening. I suppose I have simply gotten used to the odd occurrences, and being a paranormal investigator myself, the more experiences I have, the more I know what to look for or get ideas of things to try during an investigation. Every new encounter I have with the unexplained leaves me exhilerated and wanting more. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I cannot do much investigating at the moment, but I am hoping things will change once I am home for summer break, and then hopefully next year will be better.
Anyway, now I’ve begun to ramble and so I’ll leave you with a quote I think.
“It’s not what you look at that matters; it’s what you see.” – Henry David Thoreau
