The Fog, The Door, and The Dog

Oops. Once again, I fail at posting regularly.  Although my posts have all been three months apart, almost exactly…at least I’m consistant.  :P

Anyway, I have had a couple of strange things happen to me recently.  First off is the dog.  My dog, a black toy poodle named Coco, has been acting differently lately.  It started back in May.  She started wanting to be in my room at night, which she hardly ever did before.  From there it has escalated to the point that now she has to be around me almost all day.  If I’m in my room, she’ll scratch the hell out of the door until I let her in. If I leave, she leaves. If I come back, she follows me.  And she’ll follow me around the house until I sit down, and then she wants to lay in my lap. She never used to be this clingy, and maybe it’s just because she’s getting old, but I think it has to do with my sensitive abilities.  Dogs are highly sensitive to the paranormal (as are most animals), so it could be that she’s sensing spirits around and feels comfoted by my presence.  Plus, if it was simply because she was getting old and is lonely or something, it would be my dad she would follow, because she is “his dog”.

The second thing that has happened involved the door to my bedroom.  This summer I worked third shift and would get off at 6:30 am.  Everyone besides myself and my mother would be either asleep or at work/school.  One morning I came home and when I came out of the bathroom, I heard the doorknob to my bedroom turning (it makes a rather loud metallic noise).  I looked down the hallway to see my door swing open as if someone had opened it from inside.  I went to check, thinking to myself “Why is mom in my room?”. And of course, the room was empty and my mother was in the kitchen getting ready for work.

And the third thing: Another morning I got off of work, clocked out, and headed to my car.  It was extremely foggy, especially for the middle of the city.  As I looked out into the fog, I kept seeing human shaped forms in the fog, everywhere.  Now, just before I left the building, before I even saw the fog, I began to a weird vibe and “creepy” feeling.  This feeling only intensified when I went outside into the low-lying cloud.  I can’t say if these forms that I saw were actually spirits, or just my tired eyes playing tricks on me, but what I do know is that even though I’m well experienced at seeing spirits of all sorts, this instance had me nearly running to the car.  I’ve never seen that many spirits in one place (if that’s what they were), and the fact that all they did was stare, almost zombie-ish was what gave me goosebumps.

That’s all the stories I have for today, but hopefully I’ll get better at updating!

Au revoir,
